Fire & Life Safety
The Fire & Life Safety team administers compliance programs that increase the campus community’s awareness of fire and life safety. The team specifically provides consultative and enforcement services to ensure institutional compliance with the North Carolina Fire Code (NCFC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
What’s New
- The Department of Insurance (DOI) Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) inspector will be on campus April – July 2024 conducting the annual fire and safety inspection.
- The tent permit process has been revised to require 30 days’ notice prior to the event.
- The 2024 fire drill schedule is available online for building owners.
